What we collect
- Account data — your email address when you sign up or sign in with Google.
- Analogy content — the topics and text you submit to generate analogies. These are sent to OpenAI to produce the response.
- Usage data — a count of analogies generated per day, used to enforce free-tier limits.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To generate analogies via the OpenAI API — your submitted text is subject to their privacy policy.
- To enforce daily usage limits on free accounts.
- To let you save and share analogies publicly if you choose to.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not read your browsing history or page content unless you explicitly select and submit text.
Browser extension
The Analogize browser extension stores your session token locally on your device. It reads text only when you explicitly select it and trigger an analogy. No background reading of page content occurs.
Data deletion
You can delete your analogies from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact support@nexlifypal.com.
